Corrections Policy
Our commitment to accountability and transparency when errors occur
Our Commitment
AI Business Review is committed to accuracy. When we make mistakes, we correct them promptly, transparently, and with appropriate prominence. This policy aligns with Clause 10 of the IMPRESS Standards Code.
Types of Corrections
We classify corrections based on the significance of the error:
Minor Correction
Typos, spelling errors, or minor factual inaccuracies that do not materially affect the article's meaning.
Significant Correction
Material errors that affect the accuracy or meaning of the article's core claims or conclusions.
Retraction
Complete withdrawal of an article due to fundamental errors, ethical breaches, or inability to verify core claims.
How to Report an Error
Submit Your Report
Email corrections@aibusinessreview.org with the article URL, the error, and the correct information with supporting evidence.
We Review (48 Hours)
Our editorial team reviews your report and verifies the error. We may contact you for additional information.
We Correct & Notify
If an error is confirmed, we publish a correction with appropriate prominence and notify you of the action taken.
We Log Publicly
All corrections are recorded in our public Corrections Log for full transparency.
Correction Prominence
The visibility of a correction matches the severity of the error:
- Minor Corrections: Inline correction at the point of error, with footnote explaining the change
- Significant Corrections: Correction notice at the top of the article, clearly stating what was wrong and what is correct
- Retractions: Full retraction notice replaces the article, with explanation of why it was withdrawn
Original text is preserved with strikethrough where helpful for transparency, and all corrections include the date of correction.
Corrections Log
We maintain a public log of all corrections for transparency. Sample format:
