Publishers shall take all reasonable steps to ensure accuracy. We commit to:

Publishers shall properly attribute sources and not pass off others' work as their own.

  • Quotations are accurate and not taken out of context
  • We never present others' work, ideas, or research as our own
  • AI-assisted content is disclosed when used in content creation

Publishers shall take special care when dealing with children (under 16).

  • We do not interview or photograph children without parental consent
  • Children's identities are protected in sensitive stories
  • We consider the welfare of children in all editorial decisions

Publishers shall not incite hatred against any group on the basis of protected characteristics.

  • We honor commitments of confidentiality to sources
  • Anonymous sources are used only when necessary and verified
  • We explain to readers why anonymity was granted when relevant

  • Right of Reply: Subjects of critical coverage offered opportunity to respond before publication

  • AI Transparency: Use of AI tools in content creation is disclosed
